Rehabilitation Centre
To fulfill its social responsibilities and further the cause of social harmony, the Foundation has established a Rehabilitation centre for the handicapped. Archana Viklang Punarvas Kendra, Guwahati was established in December 1995. Apart from providing artificial limbs free of cost the Kendra also undertakes vocational training for the affected individuals. It not only provides mobility to the handicapped but also restores their human dignity and gives them an opportunity to become useful members of society. It helps them to discharge their responsibilities in a more dignified and productive manner. So far the Kendra has fitted 164 artificial limbs to the needy.
