Conclusions
- Communal Harmony is pre-requisite to the overall development and progress of the country.
- Personal views cannot be imposed. Constitution has given freedom of choice, which can be exercised by an individual.
- Recently, India is facing a great challenge due to divisive forces of Casteism, Communalism, Regionalism, Terrorism and Separatism.
- The most effective way of combating these forces is to enter into dialogue. It has to be a two way dialogue understanding the sensitivities of others.
- We are in the habit of looking up to State for everything. It is time to realize sense of duty as a citizen.
- Exploitation of Religion, Caste, Creed, Regionalism has to be fought on war footing.
- Create non-political platform to spread the message of Harmony and Brotherhood.
- Media – both Print and Electronic have crucial role to play in spreading the harmony.
