Conclusions

  • Integration is the coming together or fusion of diverse elements or different entities into one recognizable identity.
  • Indian reality which has been that of a special pluralism situation leading to unity and strength – rich variety of hues blending homogenously into one whole.
  • When freedom was achieved and the founding fathers of our republic set down to frame a Constitution for independent India, they had a vision and a dream.
  • The highest value in their minds was that of building a strong and united India and an integrated nation from a highly heterogeneous, widely segmented and fragmented society with many diverse pulls of various sorts.
