Conclusions

• Education and Communication are essential to promote National Integration.
• Present day educational system lays more stress on learning by heart and passing the examination. It makes you literate but not knowledgeable.
• It is through liberal education that we cultivate in the younger generation progressive ideas and enlightened principles.
• The quality of education should be such that the young people will go forward not as prisoners of the past but as pilgrims of the future.
• Syllabai needs to be re-structured to remove stagnation and make it more purposeful. Education should broaden the intellectual horizon and inculcate in them a scientific temper.
• Students should be exposed to true value system and made aware of their fundamental duties.
• National Integration to be included in the educational curriculums.
