Conclusions
- Democratic structure of Indian Polity should be preserved.
- The democratic system of government enshrined in the Constitution to be strengthened for ensuring unity, integrity sovereignty and secular character of the nation.
- The need for stability of the Government was emphasized to make the economic reforms a success
- There should be right to information to the citizens incorporated in fundamental rights as enshrined in the constitution.
- There should be minimum qualification set for candidates to become members of Parliament / State Assembly. In any event, no person with criminal record should be ever be allowed to contest the election by any party.
